Restaurant des Arcades

The ambience was magnificent with the presence of the local clientele making this restaurant unique. This is a must restaurant to visit by virtue of the beautiful neighborhood with cobblestones narrowed streets that open onto this empty plaza that turns into outdoor festive rows of old fashion checkered table cloth covered tables and the hand written menu on a chalk board. The service is absolutely merveilleux with the wine and pickled cornichons and olives is another nice touch. The salmon with carrots, green beans and the beef stew were succulent and delicious. For dessert, the classic French crème brûlée topped it all. And by this time, the sun has set, the overhanging street lighting covers the whole plaza and we are in a small French neighborhood dining on the street!! The atmosphere is just parfait!
