Membre Qype (lnb36…)Londres, Royaume-Uni29931 janv. 2009This monument in Belgium stands on the grounds where the battle of Waterloo took place. It is part of an exhibition centre which includes other attractions such as a battlefield tour and a panoramic painting of the battle.
The monument itself is a big mound with a lion on which visitors can climb and the view from the top is amazing as long as you don't mind heights!
Although I'm not a big history fan I found it a very interesting experience and would recommend it.
Also, students are given a discount and the restaurant opposite is very nice!
