Brighton's hidden gem!
We wondered into this restaurant without any reservations and we're sat right away. The restaurant has different levels with tables in each one. We sat in the main entrance where there are just 2 tables. Although the restaurant was quite busy we had a very private dinning experience when the table next to us finished their dinner.
The owner is very dedicated to her restaurant and has so much passion for great service. She goes out of her way to ensure that everyone gets to relax and enjoy a lovely meal. The food was fresh of the boat and very tasty.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant when in Brighton!!

Possibly the worst nail service I've ever received!!!
Walked in the almost empty salon and asked to get a mani pedi. I kept being quoted different prices for the same service and when I opened the price menu I realised that the prices I was quoted were way out of line. Thinking that this confusion was based on a simple language barrier (the lady told me she didn't really work there?!!?) I settled for a mani pedi.
After being seated in the pedicure chair, I was very kindly offered a cup of tea (thank you that was very sweet). While 1 lady was working on my feet another was doing my hands. The only issue with being worked on both hands and feet at once is that I had to twist my body so the manicure lady could do my hands which is very uncomfortable. Plus it wasn't a 'real' manicure since they could only use a little soaking ball.
The scrub used in my feet is horrible and feels like burning sand as opposed to a gentle polish!! I had to told her many times to be more gentle because she was burning my skin!!
Once both ladies were finished and ready to apply the color, I noticed that my previous nail polish wasn't removed all the way and that my nails weren't even filed!!! The ladies were very annoyed when I pointed this out and went on gossiping in Vietnamese.
Needless to say that the color wasn't applied nicely! I had polish on my skin and we can definitely see the brush strokes on my nails...
When I came time to pay I was told that they only take cash. When I asked why they said that they never take cards but after insisting (and more Vietnamese gossiping) I was told that the Internet for credit card machine broke a long time ago and that the repairman hasn't been able to fix it. I find it very hard to believe that there's no Internet in Clapham.
After being pointed to the nearest cash machine, I was able to pay in cash. When I asked for a receipt I was given a price menu with £65 and the date on it (oh and a stamps as it must make the only thing sounds very legit!!).
... Pretty doggy place if you ask me..

Had dinner at Brasserie Zédel for pre-theatre which is one of their most popular time!

The service was very fast and our Portuguese waiter was excellent! His services was worthy of a fine dining establishment with great menu recommendations!

The Steak Tartare was a bit of a let down as the meat was minced too thinly and worked way too much with sauces. I'm sure the quality was good to start with but the taste was lost in the mise en place process.

I would highly recommend to make a table reservation to avoid disappointment!

Chez Bruce offers delicious food and perfect service!

We had the Roast cod with truffle mash and couldn't have made a better choice! The code was cooked beautifully and was perfectly complemented by the succulent mash!

Service was excellent throughout the meal with special attention to every details!

I would highly recommend eating at Chez Bruce!
